DJ Francisco Perez was hired by Martin, the bride’s brother, to provide bilingual DJ and MC services for a wedding at The Veranda venue in Diboll, Texas. Although DJ Francisco only communicated with Martin, the event was a great success, with Martin clearly conveying the couple’s preferences. The couple’s vision for the wedding included a high-energy celebration with a bilingual DJ, a first dance on a cloud, cold sparklers for special dances, and a strong focus on music tailored to their guests. They sought a DJ from outside the area to bring a fresh atmosphere to the event.
The Veranda, known for its rustic elegance and picturesque surroundings, was the ideal location for this celebration. Located in East Texas, the venue offers a large reception hall and beautiful outdoor spaces, making it perfect for both the ceremony and reception. The warm ambiance and flexible layout contributed to a seamless event, allowing the couple to personalize their wedding to suit their unique style.
Music played a central role in the wedding, with the couple providing specific playlists covering genres like rap, cumbia, norteñas, and country. During dinner, Mariachi Viajero Dallas performed, adding an authentic Mexican touch to the evening. DJ Francisco skillfully blended the music provided by the couple with his own choices, ensuring the energy on the dance floor was consistently high. Special moments included the grand entrance, which set the tone for the celebration, and the first dance on a cloud, which added a magical touch despite the large dance floor.
Despite a few challenges, such as managing the logistics of dry ice for the “Dancing on a Cloud” effect and working without direct communication with the bride and groom, DJ Francisco successfully navigated these obstacles. The sound system and lighting were perfectly tailored to the venue’s size, and the event’s timeline was carefully followed. Key highlights included the perfect execution of the grand entrance, the cold sparklers, and the overall lively atmosphere, which kept guests dancing late into the night. The DJ setup included advanced equipment like intelligent lighting, a Presonus digital mixer, and cold sparkler machines, all of which contributed to the success of this unforgettable wedding celebration.
