Weddings and Quinceaneras Expo DJ Set Up
Our Weddings and Quinceaneras Expo DJ set up above was a huge hit at our last Expo. It’s that time of year where we are going to countless Open Houses and Bridal Shows, with shows like the Houston Bridal Extravaganza, the Weddings and Quinceanera Expo, the Houston Wedding Showcase, and the Quinceanera Magazine Expo, January and February are extra busy meeting and greeting some great people that are planning their event this year, or in the next couple of years.
This year we only attended the Weddings and Quinceaneras Expo at the George R. Brown Center. It turned out to be a great event, lots and lots of people stopped by our booth.
The Majority of the people we met there were planning their quinceanera and only about 1/4 of them were planning a wedding reception. Either way, we were happy to be able to talk to so many great individuals from all types of backgrounds.
Our booth looked really good with lights, TVs, Trussing, DJ Mixer, Video Cameras, and some of our info to pass out to our future clients. (Excuse the Slanted Sign, our photographer was not a professional)
This particular Expo happens twice a year, once in January, and another later in the Year, on either July or August. The official date has not been set. The one on January was on January 31st, 2016 and went on from 12pm to 6pm.
Looking at some of the photos on facebook you can see how popular this expo is for both weddings and quinceanera looking for the perfect vendor for their event. Some people there did not even have their venue picked out, so they were just there doing some general research to get an idea of how much they were going to spend on their event. I believe that to be a great idea, as you will know well beforehand how much you can expect to pay with the vendors you meet there. Additionally, you can get to meet the vendors and how friendly, or unfriendly, they will be. That’s a big factor. Imagine working with a vendor you don’t like or don’t think is treating you fair? One of my last posts was from a recent quinceaneara I did earlier this year, that based on their facebook reviews, they call the cops on their clients…
