As we begin the new year we are starting strong, already having provided our DJ, Photo Booth, and uplighting at over 5 events this year, we have had 3 weddings, 1 Quinceanera, and 1 corporate event.
This Year has been a great year so far.
Our blogging has also increased a little bit, I have 2 blogs Top Requested Songs and a New DJ Review this year. This is a strong start along with a very strong end of year, we provided our services to some great people these past few months.

The First Quinceanera
This past Saturday was our very first Quinceanera of the year, and it was a blast. A lot of dancing and a lot of fun for the guests. This particular venue is located in Pasadena Texas, which is very near to where we are located.
The not-so-Grand Vista Event Venue in Pasadena
The venue, one which I would NOT recommend for parties especially Quinceaneras or Weddings bringing in a band, for various reasons, the main one is that the police will come and shut down your party if you can hear the volume at 50 feet outside the reception area. The place is https://www.facebook.com/TheGrandVista/ and if you read their negative reviews (UPDATE 2.27.2017: The Grand Vista has removed their FB Page), including mine, you will see that this place has a history of calling the police on their clients to bring down the volume of the music. No explanation, other than keep down the music. END RANT
The Fun Part of the Quinceanera
Ok, now to the more positive events of the night…
There was a little bit of everything that night, Valet Folklorico Alegria Mexicana, High Energy dances, and a great choreography by the quinceanera herself.
There was an expectancy of 500 guests and there was a lot more than that, with a wait outside of around 30 minutes. Everyone whom they knew showed up and more.
And for great reason, this was a PARTY in every sense of the word.
Our set up this evening was for 300 guests, knowing ahead of time that the owner said we could not turn it up “too loud” but didn’t specify what was too loud.
We provided DJ Service, Uplights, Monogram, Gobo Patterns, and our Intelligent DJ light upgrade for the dance floor. And that also included the changing color of the uplights.

Quinceanera Dancing
The party was a huge success with a lot of dancing, the dance floor was packed all night long with a great combination of modern music to some of the classic Latino songs. All in all, everyone had a great time, I even got a text on Monday from the father of the Quinceanera thanking me again for helping them create a fun night for them.

Overall, this was a great event, with a lot of dancing and a lot of people enjoying and celebrating the night for our lovely quinceanera and her family.
