Marti Pellow has announced a UK tour at the end of 2021 – and fans can get their tickets for the Scottish dates tomorrow morning.
Former Wet Wet Wet frontman kicked off his 14 day tour with three scheduled shows in Scotland today.
The news follows yesterday’s revelation that Liberty X’s Kevin Simm, with Marti’s blessing, will take on the role of Wet Wet Wet’s new singer.
Marti’s Greatest Hits Tour kicks off in Aberdeen on November 11, 2021 before heading to Dunfermline and Glasgow before more dates across England.
Marti posted an update on Facebook saying, “I’m very excited to announce that I’m touring the UK with my new Greatest Hits Tour this November!”
“It took a long time, I think you all deserve a little party with Marti.
“I’ll be performing the hits, some tracks from the Lochdoon sessions and songs from my new album Stargazer. I can’t wait! See you all there.”
The singing legend, who was born in Clydebank, entertained his legion of fans on Facebook throughout the lockdown with several impromptu appearances.
Followers were quick to respond to news of his tour, with fan Lorraine Hall commenting, “Great news. Saw Wet Wet Wet three times and had Love Is All Around as a wedding song in 2000. I just had my 60th lockdown, so it sounds like it. ” a belated celebration plan. ”
Wet Wet Wet sold 15 million records and spent 15 weeks at the top of the charts in 1994 with their cover of The Troggs’ track Love Is All Around.

Marti left the band in 2017 to pursue a solo career and let them look for a new lead singer in 2018. They chose Kevin Simm from Liberty X.
They are now bringing their first album with Kevin instead of Marti, who is releasing his own album called Stargazer.
But Marti said he doesn’t have bad feelings about the group and wishes his successor well.
Marti Pellow’s Greatest Hits Tour tickets are on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. (except in Norwich – available on May 25) and on Friday, May 14 at 10 a.m.
Pre-sale tickets for the Scottish dates can be purchased through Ticketmaster or through Marti’s VIP mailing list on his website.
General sales will be possible from Friday morning at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
