Houston is improving its wedding game. Wedding shows seem to be coming to town weekly, but David Tutera, exceptional event and wedding planner and host of David Tutera’s CELEBrations on WE tv, brings a unique wedding experience to the George R. Brown Convention Center this Sunday.

“It’s different from any wedding show, which is why we call it your wedding experience,” says Tutera, “because it’s a very emotional, personal experience for all of your friends and family.”

Known for lavish celebrity weddings, Tutera knows that the core of the wedding is personal experience. While each fair has a fashion show and a Nominate Your Fiancé photo contest (grand prize includes a three-day Caribbean vacation), every city has a bespoke experience, from the seller list to the celebrity guest model – Houston is Josh Murray of The Bachelorette.

“Anyone with a ticket will find local providers,” said Tutera. “The quality of my providers is the most important reason.”

Vendors cover the spectrum of bridal needs: bridal wear featured on the show, florists, stationery, photographers, caterers, bakers and even travel guides. You can look forward to Winnie Couture, Who Made the Cake !, Gr8Plate, Pixel Studio Productions, Melange Events and much more. However, the event isn’t just about finding the right vendor, even if they’re high on the list of necessities.

“You want to give your story and your heart [wedding] Participant, “said Tutera,” not just another great provider, service or product. At the end of the day, it’s your wedding experience. ”

Tutera hopes your wedding experience will bring the Houstonians over any obstacle by providing verified professionals, ideas, and resources all rolled into one. But when Tutera’s epic style isn’t enough, he brings in another expert, famous New York wedding and event planner Preston Bailey.

“In my opinion [Tutera] It’s amazing. I took the opportunity, “said Bailey.” I like meeting new brides, answering questions, and just being out there. “

Bailey’s work brought him to Houston once before, for the wedding of Dallas cowboy legend Emmitt Smith in 2000. He worked in Dallas, but Houston has been a relatively undeveloped market for the past decade, which made Bailey curious. But what a Houston wedding would look like, Bailey and Tutera are in harmony.

“Ultimately, it’s the customer’s story,” says Bailey. “My job is to tell an interesting story, interpret a combination of beauty and entertainment, and interpret someone else’s point of view.”

Bailey, who started out as a florist, is impartial to blooms and blooms for decency. But like Tutera, he emphasizes ingenuity – especially for a better budget – as an essential mindset. “Out of the Vase” is an on-going topic on Bailey’s blog for new and unique ways to incorporate flowers.

“I try to bring the beauty into the house. I love the idea of ??being surrounded by nature, ”says Bailey. Coincidentally, this resembles Tutera’s current favorite style, except that its ideal is more organic-woody than floral.

However, both tend to make the customer’s dream come true, regardless of the subject. As old hands in event and wedding planning, they understand how to overcome the stressful loops and hurdles, from finding the right provider to meeting the budget. And both, no matter what time in the job, still love meeting brides, grooms, and their families and helping them find the right fit. This is what the trade fair is all about, the personal touch.

“You are planning one of the greatest days of your life. You have the opportunity not only to see a picture but also to be exposed to talent, ”said Bailey.

Your wedding experience, presented by David Tutera, will be held on April 17th at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Tickets start at $ 25 and are available here.
