Wedding Song Mashup – BEST surprise father daughter dance to epic song | 2016

Best Father Daughter Surprise Wedding Song Mashup

I came across this father daughter dance mashup on youtube and I think it was great! I love the energy from both the father and his daughter, the bride. The song selection is awesome, covers most of the popular songs, the ones that make you want to move out of your chair. I’m seeing the fathers wanting their Father Daughter Wedding Dance to be a highlight at the reception.

Mikayla’s dad (“Nate-daddy”) wanted me to post this epic video of their wedding reception daddy-daughter dance. To all you dads out there, he says, “NEVER PASS UP A CHANCE TO DANCE WITH YOUR DAUGHTER!” He also said that this dance was his chance to treat his daughter how she should be treated (as a princess). So tender.

The dance started out so sweet and traditional and caught everyone by surprise. Haha! I loved filming Mikayla and her dad’s epic and awesomely choreographed daddy-daughter wedding dance.

Filmed with love by yours truly,

There are many songs just perfect for the father-daughter dance at your wedding. Everything from “My Girl” by The Temptations to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland is a classic choice. But the latest trend in father-daughter dances has a focus on the dance, not the song. So, we’ve gathered up some of the best ones we’ve seen so you can take a look and get inspired. If you choose to surprise your guests with one of these dances or mash-ups, get ready to wow your crowd (and just make sure your dad is ready for the task!)

Surprise your guests by spicing up a special dance with a custom mashup mix. Mashup dances add humor and fun to any event that everyone will remember. Have a custom mix made for your special dance.

The father-daughter duo in this video performed an epic mash-up that included MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This” and “It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones, as well as many other great hits. The best part? Guests didn’t even see it coming.

Another one that took their guests by surprise is this duo, with the bride clad in a princess ball gown, which made some moves quite tricky!

And we just had to show you one more that shows a father-daughter duo having such a great time. And that’s the thing about all of these dances, all of the families are having fun while also showing their guests great performances.

Like what you’ve seen here? If you want to do something like that at your wedding, it’s best to plan ahead. Figure out what songs you want to use. Then, decide if you’re going to choreograph the dance yourself, or if you need a pro to get involved. Speaking of pros, Caitlin Camarda, owner of Tulle Tuxedo Wedding Dance, suggests starting no later than 2-3 months before the wedding if you’re getting dance lessons. As far as how many lessons to take, she says “as many lessons needed to feel comfortable (usually 2-8 lessons).”

While mash-ups and faster songs are trendy, slower songs are still the most popular when it comes to father-daughter dances at weddings, according to Camarda. And the types of dances for these slow songs? “Slow dances are typically Waltz, Rumba, and Nightclub Two Step.”

Even taking solo dance lessons if they live in a different state to make sure they are prepared for that special moment! They see it as a time to show off their unique relationship with their daughter.”

Now that you have your father-daughter dance down, see what dances you must learn for your reception!
