The Houston Bridal Extravaganza Show

The Bridal Extravaganza Show in Houston will be held in a few weeks, from the writing of this post. I used to attend and believe it’s one of the largest shows in the Greater Houston Area.

There you can find ANY and ALL vendors that you may still need to book for your event. Best of all, you don’t have to travel anywhere to see, meet, and get to know your vendors. Well, I don’t know about getting to know them, but you will at least get a taste of their personality and their services.

I would encourage any bride to visit the Bridal show if they still need to book anything for their wedding. This is not only for brides, when I atteneded I got A LOT of enquiries for Quinceañeras and Sweet sixtheens.

On a Side note, January is probably the month where most new brides, and some of the ones that procrastinated, start booking their vendors. So just because a vendor told you that he is available for your, that does not mean they will be available two weeks after your initial inquiry.

Hard Drive Crash… Lost 2 Weekends of Photos :(

Well I had procastinated a lot on sharing with the world new pictures of events that I have gone to play music/dj at so you guys can get some candid pictures of people dancing and some pictures of how the venues I dj at look from the DJ’s point of view.

Well, it happened to me, my backup-hard drive crashed along. I lost all my pictures and videos I had taken, I lost a few of the songs I had purchased, and well alll sorts of other information I had on there. Hopefully I can recover some of it. If not then… :(

So I guess we all need a backup copy of our back up hard drive. With the price of technology going down, it’s very affordable to keep a duplicate copy of all your back ups. According to DealNews.com, right now you can get a Portable, 250GB hard drive for $65. You used to have to pay over $250 for that same hard drive, approximately a year ago!!!

Lesson: Back up your backed up data. It’s easy to do, it just requires some time to set up your computer to do it automatically.

New DJ Video uploaded to Youtube

Well my good friends over at FotografiaVideo.com have created a fun video of me in action. We’ve worked together in several parties so Brissa took some time out of her busy schedule to create a video for an Expo show that I was going to attend. So go over to their website if you need a very decently priced wedding video and photography team.

She did it as a favor, didn’t ask for anything in return, just out of the kindness of her heart. Out of appreciation I thought I would promote her business on my website.

Here is the video, in addition to the video, with youtube.com’s editing abilities, I was able to add captions. So all the captions were created by myself, in an effort to be Humorous and entertaining.
