Sunday, October 26th was the second time I visit Vargos Restaurant to perform at a wedding. I had the opportunity to provide music for both the Ceremony and the Reception. The ceremony was beautiful. It was outside on a sunny but nice and cool day. Both the bride and groom seemed very in love and emotional as they stood in front of their pastor awaiting the final words; I now Pronounce you Husband and Wife!

The reception was very fun, it started with some soft Spanish background music for cocktails and dinner.  Then after dinner was over we continued on with the formalities by cutting the cake and then following with the toasts. To open up the dancing, we started with the anniversary dance, then played musical chairs (with a twist), continued with the newlywed game, and ended by doing the bouquet and garter toss. We started up the dancing with the honeymoon dance and continued to dance until it was time to go. Our last song of the night was Bob Marley – Is it love.

This was a lovely place to hold a wedding. They have many rooms to chose from to accommodate any sized wedding from 50 ppl to over 500 people. The place is beautiful inside as well as the surrounding environment. Located right in the middle of the rustic Sugar Land Town Square. Beautiful scenery and many shops nearby including a Starbucks right next door to it.

Bride and Groom got away from me bofore I could ask them for my signature shot of them two together. This was a fun event, small amount of guests, but everyone participated and danced the songs they liked. Also this was a very diverse guest list that attended.  Either way, the Bride and Groom and their guests had a fantastic time. Even at one point they had to go ask the staff for a brom to dance to the Limbo.
