I&#8217;ve invested some time and money into learning the trade. A professional DJ will make a full-time income from his profession. Education may come in many forms. Workshops, Training, Practice, and the Performance of the learned abilities. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhpentertainment.com\/blog\/3314\/how-much-does-a-wedding-dj-cost-in-houston\"><span data-offset-key=\"f3s7d-1-0\">How Much Does a professional DJ Make<\/span><\/a><span data-offset-key=\"f3s7d-2-0\">?<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"98bhu-0-0\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_does_a_DJ_Actually_do_to_Become_a_Professional_DJ\"><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"98bhu-0-0\">What does a DJ Actually do to Become a Professional DJ?<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"3mk8f-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"3mk8f-0-0\">Training is important. Training can be taking classes on how to use a microphone. Training can also include taking classes about what to say on the microphone. There is also training on how to mix two songs together. A DJ must learn the music for the people whom he will be playing for. A DJ will also need to be able to connect and troubleshoot his DJ equipment. Practice, Practice Practice.\u00a0 Practicing what you learn is one of the hardest steps. But, practice takes a shy, introvert, from shy to one of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhpentertainment.com\/#About_DJ_Francisco\"> best and most sought out DJs in the Houston Area<\/a>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"4fbe9-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"4fbe9-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"4fbe9-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"7mdtd-0-0\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_DJ_Training_I_have_taken_as_A_Professional_DJ\"><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"7mdtd-0-0\">The DJ Training I have taken as A Professional DJ<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"9hkf7-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"9hkf7-0-0\">Below are some of the DJ training I have taken in my career as a Pro.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"ajlb4-0-0\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"At_the_Improv\"><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"ajlb4-0-0\">At the Improv<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"7or4h-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"7or4h-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"7or4h-0-0\">I&#8217;ve taken some improv classes at Massive Creativity to help me think faster on my feet. If anything happens that is out of the ordinary, with the training I received at Massive. I can adapt to the situation. They teach you to build connections and to use your emotions to keep those connections&#8230; alive, so to speak. So whenever I perform the role of Master of Ceremonies, and I am in the middle of a presentation that goes bad, instead of sitting there and freezing and making the situation worse, I can come up with something to make it a lot better&#8230;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"1jl8s-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"1jl8s-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"1jl8s-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"28kd0-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"28kd0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"28kd0-0-0\">One situation that recently happened was&#8230;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"28kd0-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"28kd0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"28kd0-0-0\">At a recent wedding where I was the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhpentertainment.com\/\"><span data-offset-key=\"28kd0-1-0\">Master Of Ceremonies<\/span><\/a><span data-offset-key=\"28kd0-2-0\">, I had to do the announcements in English and in Spanish. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"e3qhe-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"e3qhe-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"e3qhe-0-0\">My preparation work was already doubled. And of course, the anxiety and nervousness experienced before any performance doubled. Yet, I was pretty calm and relaxed, thanks to some of the exercises that I do as a result of my &#8220;Love Story Workshop.&#8221; More on that later&#8230;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"9v7sn-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"9v7sn-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9v7sn-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"4tu7j-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"4tu7j-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"4tu7j-0-0\">So the bride and groom arrive with their bridal party. I got the Pastor and the Translator ready to do the blessing of the food. I got the guests to their seats with a short, concise introduction and announcement. Then I asked James at The Pavilion Royale Event Center to help me with the Grand Introductions.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"2lt3t-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"2lt3t-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"2lt3t-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"8pf2v-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"8pf2v-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"8pf2v-0-0\">I introduced the bridal party while James signaled the appropriate time for them to walk in&#8230;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"fq910-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"fq910-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"fq910-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"2i2k-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"2i2k-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"2i2k-0-0\">&#8220;Ladies and Gentlemen, with your applause and cheers please welcome&#8230; They both had a smile of understanding on their faces, and everything was good. When I received the Microphone I apologized and kept my cool&#8230;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"4mehc-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"4mehc-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"4mehc-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"96mtm-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"96mtm-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"96mtm-0-0\">In this situation, the Pastor was the one that built a great connection with the guests. He continued to keep a &#8220;good humor-positive feeling in the air.&#8221; I continued it with an apology and a short statement to fill in the &#8220;why I did that&#8221; question in some of the guests&#8217; minds.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"81ecc-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"81ecc-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"81ecc-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"at0e5-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"at0e5-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"at0e5-0-0\">Had I not prepared mentally, for the event, I would have frozen and not wanted to take the microphone.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"ahvol-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"ahvol-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"ahvol-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pmio\" data-offset-key=\"1ppak-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"1ppak-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"1ppak-0-0\">The commercial &#8220;Wanna get away&#8221; comes to mind. I kept my cool, kept it under control and everything was fine.
