Here are a few articles that tackle that subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have iPods made DJs Obsolete?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The new wedding singer: iPod<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a title=\"Wedding DJ\" href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/apple\/2006\/05\/4130\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Would You Trust an Ipod to DJ your Wedding?<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DJing Yourself. Sort Of.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The short and sweet of it is these articles can be separated into pros and cons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pros<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You Will Save Money<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be in total control of what is played in your wedding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will not have an &#8220;eye-sore&#8221; set-up that some DJs command<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You do not have to deal with the arrogance of some DJ&#8217;s<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nobody will be telling you how you should run your wedding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will know if something goes wrong with the music and will be in total control of diagnosing and fixing the situation in a timely fashion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can choose who will be in control of playing the music<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You do not save that much money, You still have to rent the equipment, which can run about half the cost of the actual DJ and in some cases as much as a DJ costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have to purchase your music and songs are approximately $1 each in some services, and for a 4-hour wedding, you need approximately 100 well-planned songs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have to spend extra time organizing and planning the music to be played at your wedding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will have to spend extra time hunting for the songs that cannot be found online<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By being in total control you will be more focused on the music than on attending or visiting with your guests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may get frustrated and think, &#8220;I should have just hired a DJ&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will have to choose somebody to do the presentation, and if they do not do it every week, their nervousness will show, taking just a little bit of elegance in your wedding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The person you chose to run your iPod might end up playing some of the songs you do not like, but he does. Some family members just love to irritate people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I&#8217;ll stop there&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main driving force for brides to choose the iPod DJ over the Conventional DJ, especially here in Houston, is the illusion that they are going to save tons and tons of money. And if you do any proper prior planning you will see that in the end, you might end up saving approximately 100 Dollars. However, you increase the chances of something going wrong in your wedding. My recommendation would be just to hire a DJ, Spend the extra money, and be assured that everything will be <strong>PERFECT<\/strong>. <em><strong>You don&#8217;t want to see yourself thinking, &#8220;I Should of just hired the DJ&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"mailto:fhperez@fhpentertainment.com\">Francisco H.
