A woman who fell in love with the DJ at her own wedding shared how they got married at a ceremony five years after they first met.
Megan Stone, 27, of Baltimore, Maryland, met Mark Stone, 51, in 2015 when she hired him to play music to her first husband at their wedding.
However, just a year after their marriage, Megan felt “neglected” and shared her troubles with married business analyst and DJ Mark.
The duo became close friends and moved in together after the two were divorced.
Despite concerns that their 24-year age gap could cause problems, the couple was recently married in North Carolina.

Megan explained, “We didn’t really have a suggestion.
“We’ve had an engagement ring for a long time, and we’ve just decided we’re getting married and moving to Utah.
“The married life was good, honestly it doesn’t feel much different to us.
“We’re in love and we’ve been for a long time, but it’s nice to be ‘official’ in a sense, and I love having Mark’s last name.”
However, the new bride admitted that people sometimes mistook her for a father and daughter.

She said that sometimes people are “shocked” that Mark is so much older than he looks very young.
Megan added, “Yeah that [being mistaken for father and daughter] happens here and there but not terribly often ..
“Mark looks young for his age and I have an older soul for my age.
“Most people are shocked that the gap is so big as Mark looks great for 51. And I’m 27.”
Both Megan and Mark’s families accept their unusual relationship.
In fact, the couple decided to move to the Utah mountains because of Mark’s parents.

She said, “We moved to Utah because Mark was already out here helping his parents with Covid and he loved it so much.
“He loved the people, the church and the mountain views everywhere and the fact that there were so many hikes to do.
“So I started looking for a nanny job on a whim and got one.
“So we decided to leave North Carolina for good and move to beautiful Utah.”
Now they plan to reverse Mark’s vasectomy in hopes of having a child.
When it comes to the secret of a happy relationship, Megan, 27, had some advice.
She said: “Always be honest and open with one another, communication is so important. And never stop dating either.
“No matter how long you’ve been together, always make time for each other and go on dates, getaways, and do those ‘just because gifts’. It’s important that you always feel loved and special.”
