Brady’s Landing Pictures Wedding DJ Venue Review

Brady's Landing

I had the pleasure of returning to Brady’s Landing on Sunday June 28th 2009 for the wedding reception of Nelda and Marvin Itzep.

Nelda and Marvin are very down to earth and simple people. Both of them had the biggest smiles any person can have and they just looked absolutely happy together. Every time they were together you could see and feel the love they had for each other, it was truly a pleasure to be able to be of service to them.

All the wedding professional present there were able to see that love, capture it and help me provide Nelda and Marvin with an amazing night that they can remember for the rest of their happy lives together.

One of those professionals was Photographer Julie Wilhite, from Julie Wilhite Photography who was very professional about everything and stayed in contact with me the whole time.  She made sure I knew if they were going out of the room to, sitting down to eat, or anything that might involve them missing the formalities of the wedding. Again, very professional and their pictures are just some of the most amazing photos that I have ever seen; Very vivid and colorful.

The staff at Brady’s Landing is always so accommodating, make the DJ feel welcomed and are very helpful when pointing out where to go what time to set up and even offered me some water early in the wedding reception. The room captain came up to me and presented himself and offered to be of assistance. That is always nice and not all room captains have that initiative. Most of the time I have to go looking for him and asking different people who is the person in charge of the room.

As a wedding professional, I truly recommend both Brady’s Landing and Julie Wilhite Photography.

Sugar Land Marriott Wedding DJ Houston

Marriott-Sugar Land  Hotel and Conference Center

This was a lovely place to hold a wedding. They have many rooms to chose from to accommodate any sized wedding from 50 ppl to over 500 people. The place is beautiful inside as well as the surrounding environment. Located right in the middle of the rustic Sugar Land Town Square. Beautiful scenery and many shops nearby including a Starbucks right next door to it.

Bride and Groom got away from me bofore I could ask them for my signature shot of them two together. This was a fun event, small amount of guests, but everyone participated and danced the songs they liked. Also this was a very diverse guest list that attended.  Either way, the Bride and Groom and their guests had a fantastic time. Even at one point they had to go ask the staff for a brom to dance to the Limbo.

Pine Forest Country Club | Houston | DJ Wedding Pictures

This weekend was the third time I visit the Pine Forest Country club here in Houston for a wedding and as in all weddign  I love to take pictures of the people enjoying themselves to the music that they selected to hear.

This was a bilingual wedding so everything had to be done in both, Spanish and English. It’s a little bit more work for me, but in the end it’s worth it since every family member and friend can understand what’s going on and what the man with the mic is saying. In the end nobody feels left out.

LED DJ Lighting / Up LIghting / Decor Lighting

I recently purchased some LED Up Lights / Decor Lights / Architectural Lights or however you want to call them so I took a few (6) to kinda try them out ant dress up the room a little. So below are those pictures. The colors were Green and white so I set up the LED lights behind the DJ Stage to match the colors and below is the results:

The bride really fell in love with the decorative lighting and even said if she know about it beforehand, she would have added more lights to it. I thought the same thing too, like mayb lighting up the columns and the various special bridal tables.

Dancing and Fun pictures at Pine Forest Country Club

Here is how the night went, Pretty much everyone had a great time dancing and visiting with friends and family. The Bride and groom seemed to enjoy themselves all night.

It was a medium size crowd, about 125 guests or so, so it was hard to really fill up the dance floor. It was actually full towards the end when we played the upbeat latin music and the english dance music. Event he photographers got in the action towards the end, it was good to be able to take some pictures of them having a great time with the bride and groom.

This was my first out of 3 weddings for this past weekend. It was a very intersting weekend and my body is still recovering from all the hard work that went into it, but all weddings were real fun.

Sweetwater Country Club DJ

Sweetwater Country Club DJ - Dinner MusicThis past Sunday, May 18th I had the honor to MC and DJ a Wedding at the Sweetwater Country Club Located in the very gorgeous Sweetwater community, just South of Houston.

OMG, was it beautiful.

It was one of those places where you can definitely have a dream story wedding. Where your prince charming will come and sweep you off your feet and live happily ever after.

The surrounding neighborhood is also astonishing, beautiful, Spanish Style Homes Mansions, Trees keep your car shaded as you drive through the beautiful neighborhood. It just seems surreal.

Then you begin to wonder what you have to do to live in a home like that.

This is definitely a place I would recommend to everyone who is looking for an elegant, beautiful and memorable place to hold their wedding.
