Well the open house is coming to an end. It was a successful out come. I want to thank the brides that came out to meet me and actually see the equipment and lighting options for their wedding and what we can offer for their very special wedding day. So thank you brides, I hope you have a better understanding and it took a lot of the guess work out of who your DJ will be and what we will provide you on the day of your event.

Here are some pictures for those of you who are considering the Courtyard on St. James Place as your wedding venue. I thought it was a very cozy place the staff was fantastic to work with. They immediately took me in and helped me get set up on time. Throughout dinner there were very attentive to the guests. The coordinator was very great to work with and provided a schedule that the B&G agreed to. The dance atmosphere was amazing. They had a wonderful time there.

Royal Oaks Contry Club - Houston - DJ Decor Up Lighting

I was recently at the Royal Oaks Country club during a wedding reception that took place on September 27th 2008. It was the first time I ever went to Royal Oaks to perform the DJ and MC duties for one of my clients. The country club is stunningly beautiful. The reception area is full of long crystal clear windows that oversee the beautifully kept green fairways of the golf course. The ceremony area outside is also very elegant and beautiful. If timed correctly you could have a beatiful ceremony alongside a lovely sunset.  Well Here are some pictures taken during the wedding reception. People really enjoyed themselves that night.

DJ Francisco Review of Paraiso Marabilla; a wedding venue located in Houston Texas.

I was at Paraiso Marabilla on May 31, 2008 for the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Smithwick, which was very nice, elegant and fun.

Upon arrival, there was nothing set up, just the bare place and even then Paraiso Marabilla was just beautiful. It’s one of the most beautiful places to hold your wedding. Out of all the places I’ve been to DJ this is the one I like the most.

Let me take a few words from their website that just truly captures the feeling of being there:

With courtyards full of blooming bougainvillea, hibiscus, and other greenery, Paraiso Maravilla truly presents itself as a “marvelous paradise,” which is the translation of the venues unique name. The indirect light and an abundance of candles transform this already beautiful facility into an overwhelmingly romantic atmosphere. “Once the gates close and the visitor is tucked inside, he or she is transported thousands of miles away to a Latin American and Mediterranean fantasy. All traces of Houston are gone. Every visual angle with the high walls is picture perfect – a romantic arched gateway in this direction, a splashing fountain surrounded by rich foliage straight ahead, a playful curving stairway in the other direction. “Here, a massive mantle. There, a vast expanse of Italian marble just right for dancing.”

It’s a unique feeling, it feels as if you are outside enjoying the most beautiful weather and atmosphere, but with the commodity of modern day Air Conditioning. The architecture is amazing; I loved the feel of the place. You just have to see it to understand.

The one thing I remember is the floors, they are just beautiful and it makes you wonder… are they going to allow the guests to dance on those beautiful floors?
