Houston Quinceanera songs wedding

What songs are appropriate at your Quinceañera?

JoyfulEventsStore.com has a list of the songs they recommend. I personally have not seen some of those songs used. The traditional songs are there such as:

And there is one that is also well known which is “Quinceañera” By Los Yonics. These, like I said, are the traditional songs used for the formal part of the presentation.

Now you can use that list to get “creative” and spice things up in your Quinceañera. For example, you can use Gloria Estefan’s “Conga” and have your court of honor dance their way in as they are being presented or if your family and guests are more Tejano oriented, you can use “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang. This would cause your guests to be very enthusiastic, clapping, and dancing as the Court of Honor’s is being presented. That would be something different, fun, and memorable.

So get Creative and only you know how you want your Quinceañera to turn out. There is no set way in how you can do your presentation and introduction. Go to a few Quinceañeras, see how they do it, and use that as a guide to do yours. That is, by far, the absolute best way to get it done correctly

As far as the unformal dances, such as a Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Reggaeton, and any other Genre that is used to dance. There is no limit there. Use songs that you like and that your Court of Honor can dance to.

Some Examples are:

You have options when it comes to your song selection. Some Quinceañera celebrations that I have been used as little as 3 Songs and Some have used up to 9 Songs. The Ideal would be:

  1. Introduction of the Court of Honor
  2. Introduction of the Quinceanera
  3. Father Daughter Dance
  4. Waltz with Escort of Honor
  5. Special dance or Special Dances (Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Reggaeton, or Various Songs Mixed together)

This should get all the fire power you need to start planning the songs for your Quinceañera. Thank you for reading this and I hope it helps you get organized and that your event is as enjoyable as you plan it.
